Is there a Pensacola city jail?
No. The City of Pensacola doesn’t run its own jail. When the Pensacola Police Department arrests someone, they’re taken to the county jail — the Escambia County Correctional Facility at 3080 N. Pace Blvd. — and show up on Escambia County Jail View like any other booking. So searches for “Pensacola city jail”, “Pensacola jail view” or “jails in Pensacola, Florida” all lead to the same place. The charges table even shows the arresting agency, for example “(PENSACOLA POLICE DEPARTMENT)”. Arresting agencies
North Escambia (Cantonment, Molino, Century)
North Escambia covers the northern half of Escambia County, Florida: Cantonment, Molino, Walnut Hill, McDavid, Bratt and Century. The Escambia County Sheriff’s Office patrols most of it, and arrests are booked into the same county jail in Pensacola. There’s no separate “North Escambia jail view”. Local news sites that cover the area often reference the county’s Jail View when they report arrests.
The county’s Work Annex (formerly the Road Prison) is in Cantonment at 601 Highway 297-A. It houses sentenced, minimum-security inmates, not new arrests. Work Annex guide
Gulf Breeze and Milton: Santa Rosa County
Gulf Breeze sits just across the Pensacola Bay Bridge but is in Santa Rosa County. Arrests there — and in Milton, Pace and Navarre — go to the Santa Rosa County Jail in Milton, which runs its own “Jail View” through the Santa Rosa County Sheriff’s Office. The layout is the same SmartWEB style, so our record-reading guide still applies. Santa Rosa County Jail View
Escambia County, Alabama is a different county
Brewton, Atmore and Flomaton are in Escambia County, Alabama, directly north of the state line. It has its own sheriff, jail, courts and online roster, and Alabama law. Century, Florida and Flomaton, Alabama are only a few miles apart, so check the address carefully. Alabama vs Florida guide
Mobile Metro Jail (Mobile County, Alabama)
Mobile County Metro Jail holds people arrested in Mobile County, Alabama, about an hour west of Pensacola. It’s run by the Mobile County Sheriff’s Office, which publishes a “Who’s in Jail” inmate search on its website. According to the Sheriff’s Office:

When someone is moved between jails
A person can appear in one jail and then move to another:
- Out-of-county warrant: arrested in Escambia County on Santa Rosa’s warrant, for example, then picked up by Santa Rosa. Jail View shows a HOLD. Out-of-county warrants
- State prison: after a sentence of more than a year, the person moves to the Florida Department of Corrections. Florida, federal & ICE search
- Federal or ICE custody: may be held locally, then transferred.
