How to search a criminal case online

  1. Start at the Escambia County Clerk’s Public Records Center page and open Case Search.
  2. Search by party name (last, first) or by case number — for example 2026CF000000A or 2026CT000000. Case numbers are on Jail View under COURT CASE NUMBER once a case exists. Decode case numbers
  3. Open the case to see the docket: charges filed, bond entries, hearings, pleas, dispositions and sentencing.
  4. Some documents may need registration for full online access. The Clerk offers Court Records Search Registration, and some records are confidential by law.

Tip: A new arrest usually shows only a police report number on Jail View (like ECSO26OFF…). The court case appears after the State Attorney files charges or a capias is issued. Check back in a few days.

Using “Court Information” on Jail View

Each charge on Jail View has a Court Information link that shows the court details tied to that charge. For the full history, including every filing and future date, use the Clerk’s case search.
